New bulb looks used...

Hi,

Yesterday, I have received my package of bulbs that I purchased from you guys. I ordered 2 x ATI Blue+ and 2 x Ushio 250W DE 20K but 1 of Ushio bulb was on back order. Anyway, when I got home last night and opened up the box for the Ushio, the bulb looks used with burned marks. This is the first time I order Ushio bulb so I don't know if that's normal. Please see below picture and let me know. Thank you.

Looks like normal testing when the bulb was made. They test fire to make sure there good. I have bought many like them.

Bulbs are tested in the factory... If you still have questions, you can always contact Marine Depot directly (email or telephone) to speak to their technical support.

Sorry that we have been late to post a reply to your thread. Our company was participating in a very large event this past week. As mentioned by other forum members this is actually correct as the manufacturer will randomly test bulbs. Those burn marks probably appear red and it will disappear as the bulb ages.
