new bulbs from URI

OK. so I know that most here arent anywhere as cose to OLD SCHOOL as I am, but has anyone tried the new 14,000k spectrum 75.25 bulbs form URI? these are in T5HO and T12VHO. I have been using two actinic whites (12,000K)and 2 actinic 03 bulbs. ANY ONE have this spectrum in T5? I have T12VHO so im interested in the color they put out.

I have a 75.25 that I think is a URL bulb. Its a very white bulb with a bit of pink, so I'm pretty sure its not the same bulb.

I'm curious as well.

UVL URI I think they are.. URI has now changed to UVL. it may have a bit of a pink hue to it.
I read that in a few reviews. when I first got my lights on the ARO ballast, they had that pink tint, but since then I have changed to a icecap and it is a bit more white.

thanks wayne.. I ordered them anyways and will report what I see.
hopefully they will arive soon cause my clam is NOT HAPPY and has detached and is jumping off the rock.

OK> I got the bulbs today and put them in. they look pretty good. and yes, the tank has a bit more of a blue hint. almost a bit dim to my liking for color, but not unbearable. Ill try to get some photos up soon that are worthy of posting as the ones I have arent that noticible.

I use -> 14,000 Kelvin 36" T-5 lights UVL Lighting,
along with white bulbs and I get a more blue hue rather than yellow.

yea howard, these are rated at 14,000 Kelvin. Everything seems to be quite happy with the light....
