Hey All,
A couple of days ago I purchased a Nanostream 6025 & 6045 from my local fish store here in New Zealand. After putting them in the tank I noticed they were quite noisy. I've seen in the odd place that this is normal for about a week and after that they'll "settle" and become quiet? Can anyone confirm this?
If I position them a certain way (takes about 5 mins each one) I can have them sitting so they aren't noisey, but this means they're not facing the way I want them to. This is ok for now as I'm still sorting out rock etc and the tank only contains saltwater and coral sand.
I've followed the instructions and everything is as it should be. Can someone give me peace of mind and let me know that its normal for them to be noisy at the start? (The 6045 is noisier than the 6025) Or do I need to take them back to the store for replacements? Just seemed a bit strange that 2 brand new units would be faulty out of the box
Cheers!!!
