I just got a new camera and wanted to post a pic...

Is that with a macro lens?

Tripod or are you that steady?

It was hand held, but the camera has image stabilization. the lens is an old 28-80 mm sigma, but it does have a macro switch.

I love seeing those close ups on polyps.

One of the reasons I bought that Oogles thing when I did is they said they were coming out with a camera adaptor for it. They haven't though to my knowledge.

Sony Alpha a200.
I can use my old Minolta lenses with it, which is nice.

WOW - nice picture. No way could I get that out of my camera. Maybe after I'm broke from buying a tank and stocking it I can save for a new one.

Is ther much differenc3e in th a200 than the a100 I really need a new digital and would sure be nice to use my minolta lenses.

I spent some time (way to much) deliberating whether to get the a100 or the a200. The a200 has a much faster autofocus, and is less noisy at high iso. It also adds iso 3200 and a % remaining battery indicator in addition to the usual 4 bars. Supposedly the image stabilization has been tweaked too. I'm very happy with it.
