I got home today from school and I was surprised by this bag floating in my tank. My parents brought home a new clown to go with mine! They knew about pairing at different times and such, I informed them. I had him sitting in the bag near the other clown for a while so they could look at each other, then he was put in the tank.
Here are some pics:
New clown is lighter orange (sorry for kind of blurry pictures, not good at taking pictures at the fish while moving)
New clown alone
Also, they have a decent sized carpet anemone that they just got in at that store, will it be compatible with tangs and a reef? I know all anemones can sting the corals, do carpets usually move around the tank?
I had a bulb tip anemone a while ago, it died though. This was most likely from the tank age. It reached 2 months and then we put one in. Now the tank is 6 months old and I keep 2 clams, SPS, and soft corals.
Also, some good information you should know is, in about 2 weeks or so I will be transfering the 46 to a 125, would it not be good to put in an anemone and then transfer it to a 125? The transfer will be done in 1 day, using as much old water as I can.
