New Clownfish and LTA

Hi,

I recently purchased 2 small ocellaris Clownfish from Blue Zoo Aquatics, as well as and Long Tentacle Anemone (to replace sick one I got from my LFS).

I have a question about the clownfish. They seem to stay only near the glass. I've had them since Wednesday and thats where they stay at. They might swim out in the open once or twice, but then they huddle back into a corner. I've fed them some Mysis, as well as some flake food, and they are eating it.

I'm just wondering if they will eventually swim out into the tank more and perhaps even host in my LTA.

More than likely they are tank-raised. Would they still host in an anemone?

And another question I have is concerning the food for the LTA. I bought some frozen squid and some krill. I haven't tried the squid yet, but the anemone grabs on to the krill and moves it around a bit, but it never eats the bits that I feed it. Should i be concerned?

Any help is greatly appreciated

There is no connection between a Clownfish being captive raised and not hosting in an anemone. Nada.

At least two species of anemones are commonly called "LTA":
Heteractis crispa and Macrodactyla doreensis.
It might be helpful to know which one you have.
Whatever it is, try feeding the anemone the mysis you feed your fish. ;)

Chop up some fresh (unfrozen) scallops into small pieces. Feed the anemone sparingly daily. Don't force any foods. Newly imported or acclimating anemones will oftentimes refuse foods.
