I just got these today and I noticed after getting them that the smaller one has black dots on the stripes. Is this black ick?

If it is what is the best way to treat it? Is there a way to treat without a QT tank?

I fed them earlier and gave them some garlic with their food, should I give them a FW dip?

Don't look like ich. Could it just be color pigment? Are they raised spots ect.? Just look like black spots to me. Can you give us a little more info? How is the fish acting?

Dave

the fish are acting fine, it took me a while to get the pictures because I couldn't get him to stop swimming away from me. They ate fine, and have been swimming around. They have taken to the front left of the tank, there is a archway that they seem to like there. The spots aren't raised, they look like someone draw on him with a ball point marker. I guess I will just keep an eye on them.

It just sounds like some black/brown pigmentation. I would however keep an eye on him. I could be wrong, but doesn't sound serious to me. Maybe someone else can give some ideas.

are they hosting anything or maybe started hosting? When my ocellaris started hosting zoas, it was covered with black spots.

Ok so here's an update and history on them.
They just came into L&L on Monday evening, I got them Tuesday morning. They were a bit stressed out yesterday, and the smaller one had those black spots. Today they are swimming together and the fbigger one (female?) keeps shaking and doing "flips" and the spots on the gone on the smaller one. Could the spots have been stess, they just slowly started going away last night and today there are none. They seem to be happy though, I am trying to figure out if they are possible a mating pair already. My two ocellaris have never acted this way.
