New Colin's Angelfish

The night before last I ordered a Fiji collected Colin's Angelfish from the Live Aquaria Divers Den.

The little 2.5" fish arrived earlier this morning and has been in the tank for about 3 hours now. He went right to an over-hang that I have setup and is hovering upside down. I have never seen this behavior in any of my other centropyge angels and it is a treat to see.

He is not a very "flighty" fish, and whenever I enter the room he swims up to me. This is a very inquisitive fish.

About 10 minutes ago I added some marine flake food to the tank and he went for it. He ate about three flakes before realizing that he was right against the glass at my face. :)

I have very high hopes for this fish, as it is obvious that this fish has been handled very well from collection to my acquisition today.

Pics to come, after he settles in more.

I finished feeding the little guy about 30 minutes ago. I is very clear that this is a well conditioned fish. He ate brine shrimp like a champ. He ate for five minutes straight, as if he had been in the tank for months, not hours.

Aha, this is why copps mentioned paracentropyge type similarities in your other post.
The upside down behaviour is typical of P. multifasciatus and P. venustus.

I am uploading a few pictures. The glass was dirty and the tank is not very clean, but ol' well.

So sorry for the crappy pictures, I will try to get a few better ones latter.

It looks in the video like he has spots on him, but it is just in the water. I was playin in the sump and caused tons of bubbles.
