New Comline Units?

Any notion on when those new comline/reefpack units will start being available for sale in the US? Really really liking the look.

They should be ready by August, there are some final fit and and finish details being worked out, in general the molds are ready but there are some fine details of getting a glossier polish to the molded parts and a tighter fit that require some tweaking before production can begin. We also need to finish the manual and packaging. The US should have them at about the same time as everyone else.

Sounds good, it was a little hard to tell, on those new Comline 3162 filters does it just have a place for the Osmoslator's sensor or does it house the float valve as well?

Also any notion on when you'll be getting some Osmoslator tubing, 5000.390, back in stock?

More tubing should be in next Thursday.

I wasn't at Interzoo so I don't know for sure and I cannot get that from the info I have. Either is possible as the main point is that having the sensor in the filter, due to the surface suction, magnifies a surface change so the top off is triggered by an even smaller change in water level. I will try to get clarification on whether or not the float can also mount inside, I am guessing no simply because the space is so small and the float position is very sensitive in relation to magnetic fields and any magnet holder placement has to be very carefully accounted for with the float.

The last update I got was September. The boxes have not been designed and produced yet, the manuals are in the early phases and still need translation and there are still fit and finish details to the molds before the parts can begin mass production.
