How to get it on the LR? I understand it doesn't like the sandbed, but can't see in my mind how to put it on the rock. do I use epoxy or something? Tks for the help

nope no epoxy, just some patience. if you half bury the rock then use some sand to prop up the clam, he will eventually attach. then you can move the clam and rock to where you want them.

thanks, I took care of that last night. Also did crazy research. Still lots to do, but in the meantime, I have a few questions that need to be answered asap:

1) How long does the "attachment" take? weeks, months?
2) I see that small clams, under 3 cm, need to be fed. My clam is about 3 cm, should I feed it? What do I feed? FYI, I dose my tank once or twice a week with reef mist filter food. Is this ok, should I target feed?
3) Any good "clam info" websites? looking for much more detailed info than just an 'overview'.
