New crocea placement

How is the placement of my new crocea? Does it look healthy? This pic was taken about a 1/2 hour after it was placed.

Your clam isnt open very much but it is open some which is a good sign. My croceas have always liked being near the top to soak up light and I run a lot of light.

I have a 250 mh 15k and 6 24w t5 ho. I know they like alot of light, but do you think it will be ok here? It is a corner tank and if I want it higher it will be pretty far back in the tank. Here is better pic of tank, so you can get an idea of the depth.

I've got both of my crocea's in the sand under a 250watt halide, they are OPEN fully and appear very happy

Here is an updated pic from today. It is open a little more. Does it look ok for being the second day in the tank?

yes definitely looks ok, moving a clam is very stressful on them and they need a few days to acclimatize themselves to their new home.

Nice clam. Look just like one I had in the past. Lots of gold over a very pleasing blue.
