Indonesian Live Rock came today from www.reefscience.com - overall i am very pleased with it. I got some very interesting shaped rock and it is full of holes and whatnot. doing final aquascaping should be fun.
I ordered 45lbs and i dont think its quite enough. one of the LFS has some similar indonesian rock in stock so i might pick up 10-15 lbs more tomorrow. I'm also going to pick up whatever it is i need to start the ZEOvit system. I got a phosban reactor that i am going to use for ZEOvit media. should be an interesting project.
here is the rock in the tank. no aquascaping done, just needed it in the tank so it can cure:
here is one of the pieces of rock. check out the amazing orange color on this one. never seen that before:
here is what appears to be a dead piece of acro. too bad it didnt make it. free coral is always the best coral:

its going to be SPS dominated. I've slowly been collecting SPS pieces to put in here so once the tank is ready to go i at least have a jump on livestock.
Inverts will probably be minimal. snails and crabs. I'm seriously concidering putting a trigger in the tank. i know a lot of people that have SPS tanks that keep triggers and they never bother their coral and if they want to eat crabs, then so be it. I want something a little more interesting than a pair of clownfish.
i honestly havent come to any decisions as far as stocking goes though (other than SPS). Because i'm trying to go reletivly low nutriant, i'll probably stick with one fish.

I'm in the process: Starphire glass, the entire back 3" will be overflow, with a Swid behind the partion feeding 2- 1/2" bulkheads with locline fittings.
In the pics you'll see 3-holes in the bottom(two for drains and one for return)
So, the display will be 18X18x16....no powerheads, mag 9.5 for return...

And...mostly SPS
lighting will be 150W Aqualight and led monnlights.
