New cycle with second shipment?

I'm expecting my second shipment (100 Gal pkg) later tonight, and I was curious about other's experiences with their second shipment. Did it generally start off a new cycle? If so, was it a larger swing requiring major water changes and so forth? Or was it a simply a minor bump? Or maybe none at all?

I'm just wondering what to expect. Thanks in advance to anyone who'd like to share their own experience.

Yes, 1 day long, max ammonia reading between 0 and 0.25ppm, no water change performed.

I guess you could call it a small bump.

About the same with mine. Had a real tuff time with the first cycle (all my fault). The second shipment went great and fast. I left the first shipment out too long fighting with the sand and only left the second shipment out for five minutes with no die off.
