New Derasa Claim Placement

Just bought a new Derasa claim good looking with the blue, gold outline. Was just wondering on placement. I have a 29 gallon reg depth running 130 watts of pc's. Should I place it on the sand or up in the live rock???????? I've read a lot on the claim and that they can be kept but nothing says where to start them out at. Thanks, Brandon

The sand bed should be fine. I had a derasa in my 1st reef that was a 29 gal. with 110 watts and it lived in there for a couple years on the sand bed till I upgraded to a bigger tank.
