Oh yeah... Aqaurium Concepts... Haven't been there in a while... Do they have rare clams often or was that just a lucky catch?

It was lucky but he brings in nice clams and Acros every once in a while.

Right now he has a nice 5" yellowish with purple dots T. Gigas and a few 7" electric T. Croceas

how do u get such MAX extension. perhaps mine is still settling in?? its been about 1 week

It took a couple of weeks at least before mine started to expand. I'm not really sure whether such extreme extension of the mantle is good/desirable, but the clam continues to seem healthy -- it is responsive and growing.
