I got my Dwarf seahorses on Friday and have had babies already. So Now i have a total of 17 new seahorses in a small 10 gallon tank. can anyone Tell me how many my tank should hold with out having to remove any to prevent over crowding.
I've had 50 or so in my 5g dwarf tank.
I don't like the larger tanks because you have to feed so much live enriched brine shrimp nauplii that it's a big waste unless there are an awful lot of dwarfs in the tank.
I would go for around 100 adults or so, because with only 17 ponies, you're going to have to add an extremely large amount of brine shrimp for them to get enough to eat. I'd say either go for a smaller tank, or get way more of the little guys!
