New Equipment on the way

Be sure to post what you think once you get them. The large tank here at the museum was designed and built by SeaVisions and we still use the CADS system and a Dialyseas system on the tank, though both of our systems are a little different than the ones your purchased. Let me know if you have any questions.

Also a strap wrench like this one is an absolute must have for changing the Dialyseas filters. Not impossible to change without one, but will save wear and tear on your knuckles.

How do you like your system?

I like it. We got much more than just the Dialyseas and CADS with our package, and like any particular 'package' deal there were components that we liked more than others. Overall though it has preformed well for us and I am especially satisfied with how the CADS have worked on the system, and the Dialyseas is a great tool as well.

is it worth the money ?

Well this is a tough question to answer. If you ask the majority of the people that do not own one, they will usually say no. For us however, it was a great purchase. I view it as one more piece of equipment to protect things from going wrong in our tank. And since we have a lot of money tied up in livestock and the museum's reputation is riding on having the tank be on display, it is an important and valuable tool. So yes, I think for us it was definately worth the cost. Would it be worth the money for a 30g reef? Probably not. I don't know much about your system, but in general I think the larger the system the more something like this becomes worth the money.

Also if you are someone who doesn't particularly like to do water changes, etc this may be even more worth the cost.

Cheers!

I have a 180 gal tank in the wall . I am on call 24/7 I am a maint tech for Arbys. I got the Dialysea and the sump w/cad for 3500 this was a special .This will help with water changes that I don't have time for.
