New Erectus girls!

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd share some pictures of my new girls that came in this morning. They're active, curious, and hilarious sometimes. I ended up doing mostly artificial plants and moving some of the prettier macro from my sump; teacup and shaving brushes. It looks better than I thought I would; I wanted to wait on more difficult gorgonians and such until I get my lighting upgrade.

Here they are!

Thanks to everyone here for all the great info and suggestions; been creeping around here a long time and admiring everyone's great seahorse setups, and jealous of everybody's beautiful creatures. I feel so blessed and happy to be able to observe them in my own aquarium now!

I've been offering mysis enriched with Selcon two times a day. They didn't eat yesterday or early today, but tonight I saw the bigger one (Scarlet) get 4 pieces and the little one (Spunky) get a piece. Spunky thinks so long about her food that her big sis comes in and eats it right out from under her nose, lol! I'm thinking they are still getting used to their surroundings and they were a little scared of my feeding tongs at first. Hopefully tomorrow they'll be hungry enough to eat more!

This is the best aquarium ever! I don't think I'll ever appreciate anything more than my seahorses...

More pictures, because who doesn't love pictures! :)

Spunky has really lightened up, and proven to be a lazybutt. Here she is staring at a piece of shrimp on the rock for oh...30 minutes?

And to the contrary, Scarlet has darkened very prettily, and her white bands have this pearly sheen that makes her look so striking.

Scarlet eats a ton when I drop them in front of her and Spunky just needs time to eat while there are no feeding tongs around. They are so mesmerizing and lovely.
