New Fish: Potter's Angelfish

Here she is....

She is adjusting well, a little shy but more adventurous that my borbonious anthia who stays on one side of the tank except to feast at feeding times. The other fish are getting a long nice with her. Nobody is chasing her down like when I added a CBB to my tank with an established Purple tang (killed the fish in 1 night). My tang is too busy attacking itself in the reflection on the back glass from the black background (its rather funny).

Feeding... well I got the fish from Reef Monsters. he had it for 4 weeks and was eating flake when I picked it up. I fed the first day in the acclimation box the tank some reef stew. She ate a little. The next day I fed some flake she ate it. Later that day I fed my mixed variety of Frozen (she didn't seem interested). Today I fed flake again it looks like she might have taken to some. But I do notice her picking at things on the rocks and sand bed. I assume shes eating pods that my Mandarin is always hunting. I hope that she will take to the variety of frozen food. My current fish they are well established and aggressive eaters sorta but its not like there isnt a TON of food when I feed nor is anyone attacking anyone to get more food. So I am thinking she is just adjusting.

Anyways here she is!

Great looking fish. I picked up one from Reef Monsters last year but wasn't successful in keeping it alive. With a good established aquarium, hopefully she can make it and be a great addition to your tank. Photos just don't this fish justice. Seeing them in person is a big difference. its like they shine in your tank when the lights hit them a certain way, especially the electric blue markings. Keep us posted.

Good news... she is eating!!! Likes the seaweed clip all day. Noticed she ate a little frozen and some auto feeder pellets. So yay!!! You are right. Photos don't do this fish color justice. The other fish is a Japanese borbonious anthia :) my favorite fish im my tank. :D

I love Potters, they do seem finicky though. I've had a flame for 5 years and now have a 200 gal. Anyone think I could put a Potters and Flame together in a 200gal?
Thx

Mine was eating like a piggy at reef monsters. I'm lucky that my other fish essentially leave her alone
