New fish, Yellow Assessor!

My yellow pretty much is out all the time. Just give it time. However, It rarely strays away from the safety of cover.
.

This is what mine is doing, now see him everyday. He actually left his cave once, came out a whole 2 inches to grab some food.
Was hoping he'd be out more than that, kind of a letdown.

I got 3 yellows and 3 Randall's from ORA 2 months ago. All are doing great. The 3 yellows are out all the time now. Originally the 3 blues were always out, but the yellows are larger and a little aggressive towards the blues, so I only see them once or twice a day. They are great fish.

I have had a Yellow for a little over a year now in my JBJ 28. For the first 10 months, it only came out to the front of the tank to eat maybe 3 times. Otherwise, it stayed in the back of the tank and grabbed what it could. Spent almost all of the time hiding in the rockwork. Then one day it decided it would actually aggressively go after food! Since then, it spends most of the day in full view (usually sideways), and is a nice aggressive eater.

I guess I was just being impatient.
After 9 days, he has made a complete transformation.
He comes out of the cave most times when he sees me, eats with the rest of the fish, nobody bothers him, and he bothers nobody.
Was a bit worried about the Royal Gramma bugging him, but he ignores the Assessor.
Totally recommend this fish.
