The rock beauty will be fine, many people have kept them long term without any problems.
Over more than 20yrs I've had numerous angles in every kind of system from FOWLR to Reef to Marine Planted and Macro Tanks. When I first got started in the hobby, I had little understanding of compatibility or even how to choose a healthy fish so mortality rates were high. But with a little education, experience and the experience of others, I've been fortunate that I seldom lose a fish and many live beyond the expectant life span.Originally posted by DamnPepShrimp
That sounds good and promising. You mention your first rock beauty and last majestic, did you have others that did not do so well? What did you feed your fish, tank size, mates, filtration etc? I know all these play an important part in every fish's life.
