How long did you wait for the silicone to dry? Nice tank, how many gallons is it? Did you use high modulus silicone or the GE brand at the supply stores? Can't wait to get a house, actually a garage... I'm sick of creating acylic tanks/items in the living room.

I used the GE brand silicone. I let it cure for 48 hours. I then water tested it for another 48 hours. Overall size is 36 wide by 26 deep by 11 1/4 tall. Calced out at 54 gallons. I love having the macro right next to the frags. It looks so cool.

Jason the next six to eight months will be the perfect time to get a house. Talk to Jeff's wife Jo.

Yeah, I'm discussing the idea with my girlfriend. Its kind of a big purchase :) The macro idea is great if I ever have kids I thought that was a great display on how (generic overall view) on how a saltwater habitat works. I'll contact Jo or Jeff if we a serious agreement happens. Thanks

Jason, I would be happy to help you find a house with a huge garage for making tanks and a room big enough for the tank of your dreams. Housing prices are really good right now and interest rates aren't too bad either.

Wow Mike. You must have started working on that right after I left. Nice job. You may even be able to see your frags now!
