New Frag Tanks off Basement Sump

did you make a rack like that for Joe at SWP ?/ One day I seen a guy in there with a cool looking rack somewhat like your..

BTW looking real nice..I liked your setup so nice I kinda copied you a bit :)Nothing as nice as yours though

toddmh-No, I am flattered but I have not made any more frag racks other than mine. Did you build the frag tanks off the basement sump too? I like the mangrove tank. It is cool to look at and you can get the mangroves cheap on ebay.

so far just the frag tank right off the sump kinda like yours..I have a few mangroves but I some rods like you have, mine ar not doing that great..It's all pretty new still..I go take a few pics..

What lights do you have the mangroves under? I have the zoo med reef sun 50/50 CFL, $10 dollars a bulb at petco. My elegant coral and leather love that light. It took one month until I saw roots and I removed the three mangroves that had mold on them.

here we go..The light I am using is marineland light I have from an old setup,it works pretty good so far,but I am seeing red cyno on my mangroves,..A lasting problem from my last setup..I think I am ditching these and start over..my frags are thriving though.

pretty messy now but it is all working lol :)

The frags look good! If you move the fixture over a few inches you can hang one aqua med 6500k light over it for good growth of the mangroves. Although, I see roots. It took 3 months until I had leaves. Are you spraying them with RO water daily? I heard that spraying them (rain) daily gets the salt off them and helps them grow faster so I have been doing that for a few months.
