New GBTA and Strange behavior

So I've had it for about 2 weeks and it just doesn't seem happy. I've been trying to give some time but I'm gonna start asking questions. So at first it moved around for a couple days until it got behind my rock work in the shade. Luckily on the side of the tank so I could still see and reach. There it shriveled up and didn't move or do much for a couple days until it was face down foot not attached. So I pushed it over to a ledge shaded by an overhang on the side rock work. Now it took hold there and seems better. So here is my worry, in the morning it's all shriveled up and mouth looks terrible and all white and soft. When I come home from work before my lights kick on its stretched out and looks better but the tips are not fully blown up. When the lights come on he retreats to almost nothing. Rapid led 75 gallon dim able kit dimmed to lowest setting. Parameters all good except nitrites at 10-15 ppm. Any help or input about mouth and shriveling would be great. Thanks.

How long has the tank been set up? And do you mean nitrAtes or nitrItes? If it really is nitrites then your tank is not ready for an anemone.
