sweet. my sitter had freshwater a longtime

I need fish fed, skimmers emptyed, top off water

I just have a few issues im trying to work out. if the water gets to high in my sump my fuge over flows (just bought a few plumbing things today to try to fix it)

My tempurature probe keeps coming undone and floating to the top, i may stick it in the sump but id rather have it in the tank (would ultimately like a magnetic holder instead of a suction cup. i donno if theyre invented yet, but i can picture it in my mind perfectly.

only other thing im worried about is my suncoral. i feed it daily and its doing great, but im not sure he can get them open and then plunge his arm in the tank to feed em mysis and whatnot...

Im just a born worrier really... lol

fish fed for me is easy i have a pack of Rods food in the freezer and he feeds it every other day

sumpless systems = less worry

when i have a sump it will be foolproof i will overdesign it

i fed my carpet 6 times in 7 days so i think it will be ok if not ???? dont worry me!

u only feed everyother day? I feed flakes when the light comes on (just a few) then frozen 2 hours later, then frozen 7 hrs later, then a few flakes b4 lights off



2nd to last time my guy over fed ALOT. like brown algea all over, he showed me what he was feeding i nearly had a heart attack. After that i developed a system.

buy tons of baby tupperwares.

2 for each day.

I defrost all the food and drain it, then each container gets the amount of food for morning and for night. I add tank water to them and refridgerate them all with labels, so he just dumps one in at specified times.

(I now have no tangs so he has less to (ie.. nori clips, extra feedings etc)

Then I cut up the silverslides and put those in a container, and refreeze. with directions like: add tank water to container, let sit 5 minutes, useing tongs, place 1 piece in each anemone

He called me ready to cry the first time because the anemone was 'disappearing and looked like a quarter' I felt really bad laughing at him, I explained what was happening and he dident believe me lol


My sump needs an entire redesign The guy I bought it from was a dufus. I dident unstand sumps much when i put it all together n stuff but now i see flaws everywhere. he had a mag 9 for intake and the tinyest overflow ever. I had to have the ball valve almost entirely closed to get it not to overflow. Ive since replaced it with a double cpr and took the valve off all together next step is this darn fuge, its driving me nuts

well its still alive hasnt moved and has a nice tight mouth i think this anemone will live if i dont nuke my tank or anything horrible

Why would my clownfish not move into this anemone they just wont leave their frogspawn and they hardly look at the anemone

Id put the frogspawn in a frag tank/sump/other tank etc you might highten your chances. thats like.. why wont my maroon hangout in the obta only the gbta? she'll visit it 1 time a day, alomost the exact same time of day (seriously) and only stay about 5 minutes. but im SURE if they lost theyre gbta they would be all over the obta lol.

i feed mine about twice a week. Bta's more because i split them consistintly. my merten's gets mysis everyday and silversides three times a week.

i know what you mean but its not really. it could be bigger i know, but it seems to just be a small haddoni that, or its still aclimating to my lights??

I like your frogspawn and hammer colonies. Are you using magnets to hold those frags on the side of your tank? GL with the haddoni
