new guy

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Brian. In June i bought a established 150 g reef tank and moved it about 40 miles with only a yellow leather as my only loss. I have no previous marine aquarium experience just fw, which i quickly outgrew. Through much research and reading forums I have been able to keep all my tanks inhabitants alive. Some of them include a pair of clowns and anemone all 8 years old. Starfish, urchin, damsels tang and niger trigger. Now that I have established a bit more confidence i would like to try to add my own personal touch to the tank. I have just found this forum and plan on registering with c-sea. I will plan on attending Feb. meeting. I had no idea so many reefers lived by me. Reading through the forums i realize just how important having local advice (and trust me i need alot of it )from real people can be. I look forward to meeting with you all. I know everyone wants pics so i will post them when time allows. I should be watching football.
I apologize if this not the place to post this. I am very new to posting in forums. I don't know the rules and will take advice on that also. Hijacking/bump all that lingo is new to me. Thank you all in advance.

Yep there are a bunch of us on the west side and a few east siders who frequently make the trip over. If you need help you are pretty close not to mention the bunch that live in Elyria. Welcome to the addiction(i mean hobby)!

Darn it! Another west sider!

Just kidding, welcome to Reef Central and welcome to C-Sea. There is a wealth of knowledge and helping hands abound so don't be afraid to ask. We all started somewhere so no questions are bad.

Also, if you are interested in meeting fellow reefers, the club will be having a meeting on Friday at the zoo. There will be a presentation and nice raffle. Its open to the public so you don't need to be a member to attend.

welcome to the reef, just make sure that you don,t do the bump thing like I did. Being new and all myself, I lost my post cout by bumping. Starting over again. Good luck, Ernie.

Some of you need to move farther south. Like the akron, kent area.

WELCOME ABOARD
