new haddoni

I'm picking up a new haddoni this Friday night but unfortunately I'm going away Saturday morning and I'm afraid to just leave without it fully settling in. Im buying it from a local reefer who needs his tank out this weekend so i can't delay it. My wife will be home but don't think she will be able to do much if it decides it doesn't like its placement. I was thinking of putting it in a floating pond planter. What would the experts here do?

I would leave it covered in the tank under a large enough plastic strainer. It'll need to acclimate regardless. Just make sure whatever you have something under it if you want to move it when getting back. Plate + plastic strainer sandwich.

Now, if for any reason it's not healthy when arrives, more complicated.

Thanks, here is a pic of the planter I saw in a local pet store, and a pic of the anemone. He's had it for over a year. It looks healthy.

Looking good or not, there is a dying anemone right in the box. Maybe not but I would worry that he got sick from that dying anemone.

I'm buying the red haddoni on the left, the other pic was to show thefloating plant container they were keeping there anemones in, and yes those were definetly near death
