It should have already dug in. When I got my blue haddonii it dig in within 5 minutes of being in my tank.

Well Mine moved out of its bowl totally today I am so glad to that Eye sore out of my tank. good luck with yours Mine is rooting right in It just didnt like the bowl after I emptied the sand out of it.

And don't be surprised it is ends up right at the sand rock interface.

you say that as if it's supposed to end up there, don't be surprised anywhere it ends up, I've had them content on the glass an inch off the sandbed, in the middle of nowhere buried up in the sand, tucked back in a cave of rock with just the cap extended out, on the glass above an H crispa, Under the cap of an H crispa. the reason most settle in tanks at the rock/sand interface is that's where both acceptable flow and light can be found.

And because that is where they are found naturally.

If one ends up on the glass, its needs aren't being met.

Not all, some haddoni are found in shallows in mostly just sand, some even exposed to air at low tide.
