New Hawaii order thread

finally, some of the fish have arrived. I will be there tomorrow and find out what he has, his next shipment, on Tuesday was his order focused on our list. I am excited. Will keep everyone posted as soon as I know what hes got
 
Out of curiosity, what if everything on the list was filled? I for one have already procured my fish thru another channel, and don't expect to be bound by my order from before Christmas.
 
well zen, I don't really know what to say. I have told everyone on the forum that I was able to find another source, and nobody asked to be removed from the order. I have given several updates publically, as well as through PM's and noone asked to be removed. I have done everything to maintain my integrity with this order, including going through another source. It took an extra 8-9 days, but I think thats pretty good. If he hasn't gotten your order I can see about letting you out of your obligation, but I don't see how you didn't know that I was in the process of getting it filled...didn't you read the thread?
 
Curt, I know this order has already been way more trouble than you expected, but when you posted you were going to send the order to another source, I never expected that you would want the other source to FILL it. With all other group buy fish orders it was prepay so that no one would get stuck holding fish.

I know others in the original Hawaii order have filled through other sources as well. Anyway, I don't expect that your source will be able to fill the order at the Alex prices, so I'm not too worried.

But, since the Tuesday order hasn't come in yet, please see if you can cancel my items just in case there is a miraculous fill rate.
 
Curt, If you get stuck with extras let me know. With everything you've been through you shouldn't have to eat anything on this. I have room for more stuff in my tank if nobody else wants it.
 
Dependent on what the items are you can send me a PM. I might be able to take something off of your hands if you get extras.

Are you saying the fish we ordered will be ready Tuesday at an LFS? Sweet! Which LFS? How and when will we need to pick them up?
 
I have not recieved any pm's Curt, but you will not get stuck with someones else's fish if they won't commit to thier end. I have lots of room.

talked with him today, and the order is on its way. He is filling complete orders at once, so all of your order should come in at once. It might take a couple of weeks to get it all done but its looking good. He made 1 order with all of our stuff through his supplier, but it needs to be broken up. He got us our pricing, based on our complete order, so I am sure that if you don't want your order then someone on here will take it.
