Seachem "ReefDip", Kent "Tech-D", and Tropic Marin "Pro Coral Cure", are easy to use iodine preparations for dipping corals. I've never had a problem with dipping them and always dip my corals before putting them in the tank. You should see the amount of flatworms that jump off of them sometimes.... Also, I look at it as a preventative against brown jelly.
