The new Hydrofoamer 9430.040 a pump especially developed for protein skimmers would work well for people who want to up grade there skimmer,the size of the pump well work for pump relpacement and the cost is not to bad.

We have a few, these are preproduction units, they don't have a fancy box or manual but we have some, MSRP is $203.77 and they produce a maximum of 1200lph when feeding a skimmer but more is possible in recirculation mode. They use 30-55W depending on the ratio of air to water. It is model 9430.040.

Any updates on this pump? Specs? I'd like to get a Tunze pump for my warner marine K2 skimmer.

We have a couple in stock, but the official release is moved to March. What we have in stock has no manual and a plain box. I have no further update of specs.
