New Leemar 237 gallon is finally home

For the phosphate issue I just started running GFO from day one.
For cycling I went with Dr Tims. A lot of people may tell you it's not necessary just throw some shrimp in there and it will cycle. I just did not want to go that route and from what I read about Dr Tim's it seemed to be pretty good stuff. The biggest thing is PATIENCE. Be patient and good things will come.

Thanks for the tips. will buy Dr. Tims and will do the cycling properly this time, and with lot of patience.
Thanks

hello Campos

hello Campos

Thank you very much. It's not much compared to some of the builds I see on here but she's mine all mine. Now the fun of stocking it and waiting for things to grow.

Hello there

hope your tank is coming along good. Could you please let me know how tall is your stand?
thanks

Love the tank. New to reef central. Why when I try to view the pis does it say access denied? Would love to see the tank as I am very close to ordering a new LeeMar.

I'm ordering a new Lee Mar too

It is so hard to get the Lee Mar Man. The LFS owners are very busy and we have to call them everyday. Lee Mar's business model sucks. You can only order the tank through the LFS and they don't sell it to people directly.

Dealing with these LFS can be a nightmare. They don't return your calls on time, ignore your emails, sometimes give you reasonable quote and sometimes outrageous quotes, and you name it. Some LFS owners give you a good quote but don't know how to ship it to you.

Hate Lee Mar for making me go through this.

so what size tank are you thinking about? I'm thinking about 60" x 36" x 22". Whom are you ordering through?
I might order through Justin(depending on the quote). In general he is good. Let me know man

Your tank is indeed beautiful. Perfect dimensions, not too big not too small. You should be able to get a nice variety of fish in this bad boy.

Once again I need your help

Hello Campos

Do you remember what stain you used for your stand? My stand is also Atlantis and Just wanted to know before I stain my stand and canopy. Your stand color and finish is awesome man. Let me know whenever you find time.

Also, another question. Did you use any sealer at all after the staining Process?

I remember you saying that you bought your stain from Orchard supply. Please let me know

thanks

Hey Campos, question for you:

I know you used Starboard in your tank. How did you install it? Did you just place it under the rocks/sand or did you silicone it down?

here's an updated pic. Not much but she's slowly coming along. Still trying to figure out these LEDs with corals. It's seems too much light and they don't do well and too little light and they don't do well. I haven't had any luck with the couple SPS I've tried. Still figuring out the right settings for the Hydra's, I may jump to the 52's, we'll see.
