I have seen everything eat except of course the hippo, then the clownfish looks like it goes for the mysis but I don't see it eat any.. The lion fish I haven't seen eat anything, he is behind the live rock, I read they hide and to get them some live feeder shrimp to get them to start eating.

The royal gramma and puffer love mysis though.

I also read I should get a veggie clip and feed the hippo some type of algae.

FYI, Matt has an email-list in the store. He is doing some cool stuff for the people on the email-list. I don't remember exactly though, I am sure Patrick does, he can tell you more about it.

BTW: Dory (Blue Hippo Tang) just came out and is swimming around and eating mysis shrimp!!!!!

Yeah, if you're on the list he will autograph every 55 gallon and bigger tank you buy from him. So when he becomes famous it will triple in value.

No, but seriously, I think he is working out the details on what he wants to do with the list, but I recommend you get on it!! ASAP. I'm on it twice.

Just an FYI - you can get dried seaweed for your tang at the asian market by Andy's on cambell A LOT cheaper than you can get the stuff that they sell as fish food... I think the bag I got was over a foot tall - and was less than $5 - you can use a magfloat (if you have one of those) to hold them in place instead of a suctioncup/clip thing...

The nori is a good food but you have to watch and make sure that it is free of any chemicals they may have used in the drying process.

I have a list of things to buy already again; if you ever send out an e-mail of things on sale later, putting the 3 gallon nano tank on sale would be nice.

I can see it sitting on my coffee table in place of the stupid candles my fiance' has on the table, already. :lolspin:

and I will put a sign next to it that says "I'd have my reef tank one way or another"
