New Life After Death

I actually have three more growing in the tank, that are pink bubble corals. Here is a pic of one set of them. There are two growing side by side on the frag plug/plate.

These "twins" have been growing like crazy. You can really see that they are two different corals when they eat.

that is amazing. I just had a watermelon mushroom break off and its inspiration to leave the rocke it broke off that has a small bit of the flesh on it still. gives hope it will pop up as a new one.

I know I just posted a pic above, but this green bubble coral is just a happy camper. Only change was got a new, larger skimmer.

I had purchased a beautiful small pearl bubble coral, and for whatever reason, did not make it.

However, I never throw the skeletons away, and just leave them in the tank. Well, after moving things around, and about 4 months later, I found a small baby bubble coral growing on one of the blades from the dead coral. While looking at it, I can see the "bubbles" moving with the flow in the water. It was a nice surprise needless to say.

Here is a pic and it is the "star" shaped item on the blade of the dead coral.

Just an update....it has gone from the above to this. Survived a tank crash, led only lighting, etc... 3" in diameter.

Wow!!! That's an amazing progress!
I love to rescue corals. First, it's a cheaper price and second I enjoy seen it how they progress from a death...
I rescue this war coral. The fish store gave it to me for free thinking that it will die... Well, that wasn't the case
