New Mag has arrived!!!

I posted a week or so ago about a mag that I was trying to get from a guy in New Jersey who was trying to sell his tank and most of its inhabitants on eBay for local pickup only. He had a beautiful, healthy mag that was in the tank and he was selling it with the old setup. He agreed to sell it to me and ended up only charging me the shipping charge $132.00. I was stoked when he agreed to ship it. Well it arrived today and it is in amazing shape. He had it for just over a year so it is good and established. Here is a picture of it approximately 4 hours in tank with powerheads still off and screen on tank to block a little light while acclimating. What do you guys think?

Yes, right after I put him in tank I had to head back to work so I left powerheads off for him to attach. My wife sent me the pic while I was at work. As soon as I returned from work I removed screen and started ramping up the flow. He's getting good flow with the occasional turbulence type flow.

This am with lights out, it hasn't moved an inch from where it attached . Not sure why pics are loading sideways

I want this thing so big that it acts as a canopy, any tips? How often can I safely feed? What are some good choices. So far he likes shrimp and bay scallops.

nice work! i have a feeling you will see that anemone move somewhere closer to the water movement source though. they really do like a bit more direct water motion.

i currently have a magnifica less than 12" from an MP40 that will fluctuates to full blast. ill try to get you some representative clips tonight for examples.

Thanks, I've worried at times that it's too much, lol. If it were a coral, I would think man it's being beaten to death. I would appreciate video examples.

had some trouble uploading this video to photobucket.

yes, the proximity to this powerhead makes me nervous. but this anemone has stopped moving for weeks now, and im confident it will stay put barring some big change in my water conditions.
