New mag out of the HT. :)

Acros & Wrasses
Yellow tips mostly faded away, but still looks pretty good for just coming out of treatment. My Amphiprion bicinctus are already building their immunity up to it, very happy. :D

Thinking about moving my purple plus closer to it to bring the purple tones out more, have a ABS above it right now and I think it would look a lot better if I switched.

Those are some really cool looking clowns. Where did you get them? I've heard they will take pretty much any anemone as a host. Can anyone confirm?

These are "Spotcinctus" clowns, ORA breeds them, I got my pair from divers den. As they mature they'll get quite a bit of black on them.

Can't say about them taking to any anemone, but I know that H. magnificas are a natural host anemone for them which is why they went to it so quickly for me.

They will likely turn darker brown as thet get older, not black. This photo is a little dark, but she definitely did not have black on her at all.

Good to know, thanks for the heads up. I saw a pair that were pretty black (maybe it was just a dark brown though), but I knew by looking at photos most of them got dark brown. Maybe it's similar to Percula's and an a host anemone can help with their coloration? Not much info on these, but I guess that's because they're a larger species.

How was yours as far as temperament as she aged? Did you have a pair or an anemone for her/them?

I had a spawning pair that were hosted by a gigantea. I even raised several clutches of eggs. Suprisingly, they were pretty mellow. They never attacked my hand even when they had a nest. She would sometimes chase a fish away the anemone, but overall they were perhaps the most docile clowns I have owned (which was not what I expected)

Sounds like a great pair of fish, I love them already their swim pattern is perhaps the most interesting thing I've seen, I love it. And I've had clarkii's in the past.

Will do, thank you!

My bicinctus are darkening up already, it must be from the magnifica. Need to do some photos today to update. :)

The "Female", the bigger of the two has dramatically darkened up with the presence of the magnifica. The "Male" is also getting darker, but not nearly as much as the female.

Beautiful red base H.mag.

Be careful with the clowns and ensure they arent stealing food from the anemone just yet.
It still needs to recover fully from shipping stress.
