I currently have a dual 250 PFO MH ballast (probe start I believe) on my 180 gallon. Im buying one more single 250w MH ballast, and was wondering if I should jsut get an electronic one. The cost difference between the two is minimal. What do you all think??
I have read pro's and con's both ways. S'posedly an electronic uses a bit less electricity, but doesn't burn the bulb quite as well as a magnetic. Again this is just what I have read, I only have experience with mag ballasts.
