Hey all, just wanted to share a new micro I've got coming later this week:

1 box honey cornbread mix prepared according to directions, reducing milk to 2/3 recommended amount (we use Krusteaz - recipe is from them).
1 cup (8.5 oz can) creamed corn
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons diced fresh jalepeno peppers
Bake according to package directions

Easy!

That was packaged cornbread?!?!?! It must be the creamed corn and cheese that makes it so dense... I'll be making it this weekend... Hope it comes out half as good as when you or Barb made it... I'm actually glad it was a package, increases the chances I'll make it... lol

She made it, I cut the peppers and then promptly rubbed my eyes. Bigggggg mistake! Note to self -- use a plastic spoon to scoop out the seeds and white parts next time

Well, it showed up today and looks very nice. Big polyps for a micro, I'm guessing from Tongan waters.

Another photo from the vendor to give you an idea of the size. I'll likely make some frags for the upcoming swap as it cost me a small fortune, but I'm overall pleased. Price TBD until I can count polyps, determine frag sizes, etc.

Funny story....have you tried the new Fiery Habanero Doritos? Made the mistake of rubbing my eye after eating some the other day and I could have sworn I was going to go blind. The absolute most horrifying feeling I've ever had in my life. Imagine setting your eyeball on fire. Then imagine it worse, and that's what it feels like. Not recommended...:eek2:
