This is the prototype of the new expansion card PLM-PWC (ProfiLux Wireless Control). With this card the ProfiLux and the led-lamp Mitras LX are able to communicate wirelessly, special functions like thunderstorms or maintenance can be synchronized.
Available in Autumn.

chevyman this is designed specifically to connect the ProfiLux to the Mitras in order to be able to utilize the capabilities of the ProfiLux in programming the Mitras. It's not designed to work with any other controllers and honestly would be of no use without a ProfiLux controller.

All I want is a standalone wireless adapter that would aloud wireless control of the Mitras, without having the profilux

How is this going to improve/benifit the lamps Al

I don't think it will "improve" the lamp at all. My thoughts are it would integrate our ProfiLux controller with the Mitras which has been a huge request since day one from ProfiLux/Mitras users.

Yep I understand that Al! But to what end mate, what's the point in integrating a stand alone lamp, we have the CC software to program, what else will the profilux do that isn't done in the CC

Quote from this post by Matthias on the GHL forum.
"at the moment we are working on the card PLM-PWC( = ProfiLux Wireless Control) with this card ProfiLux and Mitras are able to communicate via radio, e.g. to synchronize thunderstorms or maintenance programs here is a pic of the prototype we are using at the moment for our tests:"

Reading from this, it is purely to synchronise functions that can happen on both!
Don't know if it will integrate with the lighting system in the profilux so you can set it up there, or maybe not!

For myself it will save me the effort of having to plug in my laptop via USB to the lamps. Also, if it works like I think, should be able to sync pumps etc. with the lights from Profilux. As an example storm mode.

is there currently no wired way to sync with the profilux? Matthias is there a ball part on cost for this, and any chance it can me used to control other things i.e. vortec?

Up to this point the two components don't communicate. It's Mitras to PC or ProfiLux to PC but no ProfiLux to Mitras... that's the beauty of this new components.

eventually yes

For the cost questions, as the posts states this is prototype with a release in the fall there is no way to predict material costs or exchange rates that far ahead. the cost will be announced in the Fall on release.
