New MP40s.. Sound?

I've had a number of different Vortechs in the past, and was never too impressed with the sound level. However, I've heard the newer models are quieter than the old ones.

Can anyone with both the newer style and older style pumps give their opinion on this? Thanks

I have 4 vorts, 2xmp 20's and 2x mp40's.
One of my 40's is an older one bought used, and that is really quiet, but for some reason a brand new 40 I just got is giving me vibrating issues and is too noisy to even use, and it runs a good bit hotter than my other 3.
I'm presently trying to resolve this issue.
