I wouldn't call it a complete scam.. people just have to research who they are buying from, as they should with every interenet purchase. I can also say that Pacific East has apistasias, and they are where I got my bryopsis from. Does that mean I should blast them away for poor husbandry? ...no. People just have to know what to look out for, and what they are getting.

That example makes no sense... That's like saying yeah, some guy fought dogs until they died, but hey, the pet store up the street has fleas on some of their dogs.

There's a huge difference between aiptasia and algae, which are pretty much impossible to eliminate in any retail system, and making the active decision to treat live animals in a way that likely kills a lot of them. For example, you could show me a picture of a retail tank with aiptasia and I won't know whose it is, it could be any retailer in the country, but one picture of a fresh cut half dead frag and I can tell you exactly whose it is.

I can see what you guys are saying. Although I have personally never lost a coral that I bought from him. I just felt like I needed to say that I had never seen this type of thing in any of my orders. From what it sounds like, I must be in the minority.
