How are people liking these Jeremy, had a couple people in the club ask me about these. Just wondered what feedback you had on them. I upgraded to the RKE, But I already had everthing from the lite. Seems like a good bang for buck controller for those wanting all the bells and whistles.

For a full blown controller that does just about anything you can think of, these are the way to go. The RKE isn't a bad controller by any means, but I just don't think it can compete with the Apex.

They're Here!

They're Here!

Our first shipment of APEX controllers have just shown up, and will be going out the door today. This is for the first 17 units, the remaining 19 units will be here on Monday, and will ship out then.

Thanks,
Jeremy

yeah, I'm assuming mine is in the 2nd shipment!

I assume I'm 2nd shipment as well, but did not get an email yesterday, so they must have not come in.

We received another shipment of 8 Apex units this morning. We'll get those headed right back out the door today. We still have 9 coming to fill our remaining pre-orders, however it might be another 1.5 - 2 weeks until those remaining units come in.

I got mine yesterday. Wasn't it supposed to come with a standard grade pH probe? I don't see one in my box, unless that temp probe is also pH.

I'm just curious how from Friday to Monday, the number of units changed from 19 arriving on Monday to 8 on Tuesday with 9 more in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. That comes up 2 short. Especially since earlier in the week, there were 2 more unspoken for of which I took one. I played the waiting game on the Alphas for 2 months and I'm not sure I want to play it again. Do we know that this is a good time frame or just a wild guess? Sorry to seem negative but I need this thing sooner than later.

I'm sorry, I only relay what Neptune gives me. Here is the low down....

We were guaranteed 36 Apex units. We were told they would be in by the end of June, obviously this didn't happen. We then finally received word that we would be receiving a shipment of 17 on a Friday, and another shipment of 19 on a Monday. We did get the 17, no problems at all. The 19 did not show up on Monday. I called on Wednesday to track them, and they were scheduled to be delivered the next day, Thursday. In speaking with Curt I was informed that only 8 of the 19 missing were shipped, and the remaining 11 would be 1 - 1.5 weeks to get.

Out of the 36 guaranteed we had 2 left available for pre-order, which is where that was coming from.

I hope this clears it up. It's unfortunate that new products get rolled out like this. Please keep in mind this is a very small industry, and the manufacturer's do not have the resources to meet demands on new products a lot of the time. I know that Neptune is working as fast as they possibly can to get caught up, however when you're building this by hand here in the US, and not mass produced in China, it does take more time.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I understand Jeremy. I am not blaming you, but it burns my rear when manufacturers over commit as to what they can deliver to a distributor. I know there were production problems with one of the parts, but they told you one thing and delivered another. Not intending to whine, just frustrated. Thanks for the reply.

Ted
