New ocellaris won't eat

I added an ocellaris to my 2 year old tank and it hasn't eaten in the 3 days I've had it.

The new ocellaris was hassled by my 2 year old ocellaris for a couple hours after I added it, but they are getting along now. I've tried all the kinds of food that I have and he still hasn't eaten (frozen brine, frozen formula 1, floating flakes, sinking pellets.

Anything I can do to make him eat or should I take him back and see if I can get another one?

Thanks

Clowns rarely refuse live brine,,,, give that a try,, or maybe try cyclop-eeze.

I have a wild-caught Occ that wouldn't touch dry or frozen food for about a month.

Not eating is usually a very bad sign in clownfish. As juck said, try live brine. If he won't eat live brine start looking for disease. How long did you quarantine him before he went into your tank?

I talked to the LFS. They feed frozen formula one so he should have eaten it. My older clown has now stopped eating. (S)he also has white stringy poop. My nitrates are high so I did a 40% water change. I hope it helps but I will probably do another 40% tomorrow.

The pictures aren't great, but the small one is about 1.25" and the big one is probably 3". Just a guess.

Yes, the close up is of the bigger clown. You can sort of see the white poop. He has also been staying toward that back corner of the tank which is something he used to do up until a few months ago when the other clown of equal (large) size died (probably from valentine puffer).

You should always quarantine. It looks like you have introduced internal parasites. Set up a hospital tank and treat for parasites. There are a lot of internal parasite options out there I'm sure you'll get lots of recommendations. I have had luck with maracyn II and I know that others have used gel-tek with good results.

Update:
The large clown is still sporting the white poop and keeping to the lower back of the tank, but he did eat today. Only smaller pieces of food than usual but atleast it ate. THe little guy still hasn't eaten since atleast Saturday.
There are no signs of ich on any of the fish so I'm hesitant to run out and buy the stuff needed to quarantine.

It's good to hear the clown ate a little. I think the clown will just take a little time to start eating. My percula would not eat for close to two weeks when I bought it and now if it sees a turkey baster or a container with pellets it goes up and down the glass almost freaking out. Maybe it is just the stress of shipping that is causing him not to eat. I wish you luck!

little clown is MIA this morning.
RIP little buddy. he acted completely normal minus not eating. he sawm like a little hyperactive kid.

any ideas why I can't find him?
tank mates are another ocellaris, valencienna goby, vanentine puffer (belly isn't buldging), 3 turbo snails, 4 hermit crabs, 1 sally light foot crab.

Sorry to hear about your fish. Hope the big one pulls-through,,,, she's one of the nicest colored Occ's I've ever seen.
