Sexy aint it?

They should have called yours the Mardi Gras acro!

Wish mine kept its green. I lose green on almost all my SPS even though they grow and stay blues/purples and now a red. Mine looks like Steves.

Try dosing a small amount of iron. I use ZEOvit brand iron and it will bring the greens out.

I agree. I've had the toughest time keeping all greens so I'm trying the Zeo Iron. It's been about 3-4weeks and there's a definite improvement. Very pleased. :)

hmmmm. so much for saving for some angels. Maybe you'll buy one and a little piece will accidently break off. LOL.

Mine isn't doing so well. Its polyps don't extend and it lost some color. My water params are great. I think it may have to do with placement.

I am running 250W DE MH 20k Helios and I have a 30" deep tank. Would the red planet be happiest in the middle, top or bottom of the tank?

This is a 120 gal tank and I am using 2 ecotech vortech pumps for water movement. Maybe to much flow?

most tablers are reef crest acros.... high flow/high light.... i'd slowly work it towards that

I had a similar problem, and I just moved it to a better location.

As far as the polyps not extending, I moved it to an area that had less current because when I turned off my Dart pump the polyps would open.

Second, I noticed that my color was fading at the same time so, I moved it lower in the tank. That kinda worked, but the addition of more actinic did the trick. Though the green in the middle has yet to come back the coral is all red and coloring up nicely. I attribute the lack of green at this point to the growth and nothing else, as this coral has doubled in size since I've moved it lower in my tank.

hope this helps

I have mine in high light and high flow.. The red has lightened up on my slightly, but the green is pretty pronounced. It looks sweet!!!

I have it about a foot from my MP20 and it absolutely LOVES the flow. super hairy...

I would love to hear what others have to say about their placement regarding light and flow and how its responding to it...

I have mine about mid-way, and it gets a lot of flow. Like you ooja, mine is very bushy! When I first got it, I was a little disappointed because it looked a lot like my rose milli. But now it seems to be more red and I notice some green in the middle.
