New Ora Red Planet Table Acro

Watch out dude, they don't like spamming of any kind in the forums. Post in the classified section for stuff like this. Not sure, but you might even need to edit your signature as well.

Great!

BTW, I love the aquaconnect bulbs, might have to get a few more. Do you have any left after Pet gets his?

I will have 3x 400 and 1x 250 i can always get more. Pat hasn't picked his up yet. Ask him if he still wants it if not you can get em"

It is predominantly vivid red with hot pink tips and a metallic green base. Fragments of this coral closely resemble what most would call Acropora millepora or A. prostrata but it grows into a tightly spaced , flat topped, true table coral as it matures.
Taken from ORA news about the Red Planet Table.

Just got mine in a hour ago. It's in our ZEOvit system. They opened up right away.

Thanks, We are a LFS so we were guaranteed to get some. LOL

So which one is mine? :)

I would like the one with multiple branches, but I am thinking Mike P gets first pick?

Congrats Aqua-World.
Just got one at noon Dallas time.

Gonna drop it in the tank in about 30 min. They look nice.

Did you get yours from Fish Gallery? I called and said they had one but it was already pre-paid. I'm hoping to get one next week.

Yes I did. I don't know if I was the pre-pay or not but they had two when I was there. I mean I didn't leave a deposit or pay before I picked it up.
I was there on Monday when they were placing the ora order, dumb luck I guess.

Got my Red Planet today, along with Purple Plasma, Pearlberry, Hawkins Blue Echinata, and Verde Acropora.

That Verde is really hairy, big time polyp extension.

I picked up the Red Planet frag still in the ORA bag, and it was labeled "Mars," for Red Planet, I guess.

Bought one today. When I got home after a 2 hour car ride, the polyps were out in the bag. I put it in a container for inspection and they came right back out and stayed out as I rolled it around. Within an hour, the polyps were fully extended. This coral is amazing.

It is amazing and definitely amazingly similar to the ATL Christmas mirabilis. The word is that this coral is super tough; so if that's the case it not only shares the same visual appearance as the ATL mirablis, but also it's hardiness as well. Also, seems ORA is releasing corals that are very much the same as other, popular "named" corals. Tubs horrida/puple plasma is another example.
