New owner at Aquatic Visions in Naperville

I found out tonight that Aquatic Visions has a new owner; her name is Amber. IDK if the name Aquatic Visions will stay or if there are plans for a new one. Apparently the store changed hands last Saturday. I did not go there before bc of the many awful reviews of the livestock, prices and the old owner. I'm going to try to go by tomorrow and see what the store is like.

No; I do not know Amber. I found out about this bc she asked a friend of mine to built her a new counter for the store.

I drive by that store fairly often on my way to/from the office. I didn't stop by once because of the reviews I've read on here. I hope the new owner does well with it.

The store is minutes from my house. Are you sure Amber isn't Mike's wife? Can't say bad things about the place as he took some unwanted livestock off my hands. He is a character though.

I don't think it's the same Amber. The new owner is supposedly younger; I think my friend said that she was probably in her mid to late twenties.

Mike's wife is Asian. If she is then maybe its his wife running the shop. If not I hope the new owner turns out to be a good one. I'll swing by tomorrow.

The store is closed for remodeling. No more info on reopening date. Sign does say "New Management".

Hopefully it turns out good. The old place was just meh. I used to window shop there before they moved from the old spot. It was cool watching the sharks.

It looks like there will be a "soft" opening This Friday (13th) with a Grand Re-Opening in early December., The new owner has NO connection to the previous one and is eager to clean up the image most reefers have about Aquatic Visions. IDK the exact time yet for Friday but I'll post when I find out.

Cool, I've been waiting for this. I hope the prices are low as I'm 5 mins away. I hate driving all the way to bensenville for cheap fish.

This place was definitely horrible. I was supprised that it lasted so long.

Open Friday from 2-8. The store hours will be Wednesday Thursday Friday 2-8. Saturday and Sunday 12-5. She said her inventory is not much right now but it's a start.

Can't wait to hear the reviews. I'm about 10 mins away down 59. We need a good place out here. It sucks driving all the way up north for a good spot.

I did go to the place on Friday. They didn't have much stock available so too early to give a review. I did pick up an open brain coral though. they usually get their stock in on Friday so I'll swing by this weekend and check it out.

I also live about 10minutes away from the store. I'll wait until the first weekend of December to go by and take a look.
