new pair :)

picked up a percula pair last week, the're doing well so far. Not sure if the're CB or WC, probably CB or are WC pairs common?
They share a BC29 with a flametail(combtooth) blenny. At some point (when the weather cools, lol) I'll do a MH retro in hopes of keeping a host. Thought I'd share and I hope to get some better shots eventually.

ps. the white thing on the blenny's tail looks suspect, but it's actually on the glass

I think those are Oscellaris not Percula. VERY HIGH QUALITY fish though. Superb color and body formation. Could very well be wild caught and that would be my bet. Captive bred are really common but I only know a couple people that sell CBs that look that good (locally).

Use T5's for lighting to support a host or even PC's. MH run temps up high. I have a pair of 150W on my 60gal with a 20gal sump and 20gal refugium, temp swings 5deg a day with central air and 3 fans blowing across the water. T5's were 2deg with one fan. Both supported the host anemones the same.

you're right on the occelaris call, should have said "false" percula, lol.
Their one of the best looking pairs I've seen in awhile, wasn't a very hard decision to make .
As far as lighting is concerned(for a host) I would do MH only because I have one "laying" around, I hear ya on the heat though, the heater hasn't been plugged in for weeks !
