I purchased 2 true percs thurs night. I acclimated them for about and hr to hr and a half. The larger of the 2 which is about 2 ins eats anything. The smaller 1.5 in has not eaten anything. I have fed frozen brine, flake food and mysis. everyone else eats but him. I have a 6 line, 2 chromis, 1 coral banded, 1 cleaner shrimp, and 4 peppermint shrimp. All are in a 55g bow front. The small clown stays under a piece of shelf rock and just swims uder there. my ammonia nitrates nitrites are all 0. My ph 8.2 and salinity is 1.026. I also have a rtba and 1 white sebae. Everyone is fine. Oh and the tank is 5 mos old.

Is he scared???

Some of my clowns have gone nearly two weeks to eat after bringing them home. He is probably just acclimating to his new home. Now if he starts breathing rapidly, tipping to one side or another, or any type of visible disease presents itself, then I would worry.

Just so I know in advance what are some of the causes besides diseases that would cause them to breathing rapidly
