New pet store in Thief River Falls.

Kinda nice to have a store nearby. They are just starting out and have minimal stock, but at least they are open and rolling and their hearts are in the right place....especially in this crazy economy!!!

I was so happy to see them up and running, I took them some "house-warming" gifts....a few low ligfht corals and a mangrove!! They plan to have reptiles too. eeewww!!

I heard that they were going to be opening on Sat.the 13th last Wed.

They had their grand opening this past Saturday (13th Dec). We were on our way to see Winnie The Pooh in GF, and had stopped by on our way out of town. Unlike any other business in this town, they are open until 8pm.

Keep in mind that this is small scale. Don't look for SPS corals or huge systems. This isn't the kind of store like you would find in the Cities. But still, kudos to them for getting this going during these hard times in our country.

We had our meeting this past weekend in Grand Forks it was nice to meet them over there and put faces to names

Yup, I heard it was going on. I met that group when I first moved here. Bought my 40B from Jim. Hope everyone made it there and home safely!! Are you guys going to post pics (if you took any) of the meeting??
