New Pet Store - Its HUGE!

Some of you may or may not know but All Pets Club in Wallingford opened a new store in Branford. It is enormous!!!! I stopped in tonight, and they are still putting together the tanks. It looks like about 150 26 gallon bowfronts for display, plumbed into two or three different systems. The "official" grand opening is for December 12. I spoke to either the manager or owner and he said they will be doing a lot of corals and fish. From the looks of it, only about 25% of the tanks are set up for freshwater; so I would have to agree with him! The store is probably about 3 times the size of the one in Wallingford, and I hope they have a better selection of stuff. They already have a TON of drygoods stocked on the shelves and a ton of aquariums as well. Can't wait to see the final product, its still kind of being put together!!!! Hopefully we can get them to host a meeting!

Thanks for the update. All pets club in Wallingford was the intial reason I got into this hobby in the first place. All started when they told me "If you can keep discus you can keep damsels and clownfish", it all went downhill from there.

WOW!!! Since I live in North Branford (5 miles away) I am most excited. I didn't know that they are going to carry Corals.

Maybe someone needs to mention to them about CTARSclub and the LFS discount(s) to members.

They are on route 1 between exits 55 and 56 from I-95. They are open now, just not running at 100% yet. They must have 20-30 employees in there!!!! (Not just construction people!)

It's on Rt 5. Just North of Home Depot (also about 1 mi. North of Rt15, exit 66). It's in the same plaza as Staples. Does this help?

The new store (in Branford) is in the old Frank's Nursey building.

I stopped in yesterday on the way to work and it is Huge! I amost got lost in the store I did not have my GPS.... It is in the old Franks garden supply store near the Chowder Pot and the TA truck stop right off 95...

theres gonna be some big invert tanks, a couple of tanks loaded with corals. about 2/3 will be dedicated to salt. the owners jerry and butch should be interested in the extra business from the club, with discounts sure to follow.

Yea I was in the Wallingford store with CTARS member Al Moller and the owner told us he wants get in with the club, and has been trying for like a year. Has great prices on all live stock. I got all my rock for my 30 gallon tank from them. Most life I have ever seen on any rock from anywhere. Tank is about two months old and full of pods, and I mean full.

exit 55 off 95n towards new london. take a right off the exit and about 1/2 to mile down on right. right past planet fitness. there will be more stuff next weekend. so best to look for livestock next weekend

They are opening a 2nd store in Branford. The one in Wallyworld has moved. The last time I was there (prior to meeting up with you the other day) they were all the way down at the end of the building. Now, they are in the middle in what looks to be a bigger store.
